We provide a comfortable and convenient vacation environment for families wanting to experience the best of old Cape May, but also with modern convenience. Key Longfellow House features* include:

We've added the following features to help make your stay more enjoyable. We welcome any suggestions for new guest services that could make your Cape May vacation even better.

  • Beach Box ... we supply a box on the beach for you to store your gear so you don't have to carry those items every day from the house. (applies to summer rentals)

  • Beach Chairs... we also provide beach chairs. This saves you the the expense of renting them or the hassle of having to bring them from home. (applies to summer rentals)

  • 10 Seasonal Beach Tags are provided for your use -- a nice savings. (applies to summer rentals)

  • Wireless hi-speed Internet Access. Our broadband comcast cable modem has been a wonderful addition for those who want to access the internet during their Cape May stay. And for the 2007 summer season we upgraded to router to reach most parts of the first floor. Now you can sit on the front porch and watch the horses go by as you catch up with your email and online browsing. Perfect!

  • Cleaning Service Option (departure day turnover)  ... A great suggestion we implemented a few years back. We've contracted a quality cleaning service at a reasonable price.  For those who sign up for this service and want a hassle-free departure day, we will arrange for the cleaning crew. This has been a big hit so we'll continue to provide this option.

Recently we launched the Longfellow Guest House Linen Service as an option for families that would like the convenience of fresh linens waiting for them in their rooms when they arrive. It's been a great success so we will continue to offer this as another value added option.
