Vacation Rental Value
Means Great Family Values
We love our guests! Many families return year after year because our home feels like, well, home. And what better way to enjoy a beautiful Cape May vacation. Not to mention our ideal location, old world charm, and modern comforts. You should know the Longfellow Guest House also delivers value in terms of dollars saved. And these days, where every little bit counts, we thought we'd take a little space to explain. It can help when you're comparing the total value of our guest house to other places.
Consider This
On-Site Parking: The 3 parking spots we provide are not only convenient, they save money. Many places in town don't provide on-site parking. And if you add up the cost to secure off-site parking elsewhere (both for the house and for the beach) for the week, it could literally add hundreds to your vacation cost. Not to mention it can be a total hassle to search out parking solutions when it's busy in town.
Beach Tags: We include 10 beach tags for our guests. Purchasing individual beach tags for the day typically costs $5 and weekend tags are $7 each, so the savings definitely add up.
Beach Chairs: We also provide comfortable beach chairs (usually 5 or so) for our guests and a convenient beach box to store them. Renting beach chairs costs around $7 a day and the boxes, if you can even find one still available for rent, can be quite expensive. We provide both which makes for a valuable cost savings.
Broadband Access: We provide broadband wireless internet access for our house. Now we'd be hard pressed to find a better way to log in to the office than by sitting on our front porch with a perfectly blended mohito watching the horse and carriage tours go by as the sun sets. The local internet cafe charges up to $7 for 15 minutes to go online, and most of the hotels charge their guests for that service.
Other vacation values
Here's something else to consider, and though it might sound a little softer in terms of black and white dollars saved, many families have shared with us this great benefit. In our guest house, families tend to spend less on food & entertainment. Since the kitchen accommodates cooking large family meals, it can be much less expensive than eating out (a lot less). And truth be told, it's certainly more fun to bar-b-que on the back deck and kitchen and hang out together with a big group of family and friends.
The Best Cape May Experience
Our goal is to always provide the best Cape May vacation experience for our guests — your family and friends — and to maximize the value of your vacation dollar. We've worked hard to set up the Longfellow Guest House to do just that. Just know we will do everything we can to deliver on that value. And if you have any suggestions that could help make your stay even better, please let us know. Thank you!
