Celebrating the Memorial Day Holiday
Growing up, Memorial Day was always a fun time because it usually meant our family and friends were heading down to Cape May for huge lobster feasts, tennis, the beach, and of course our annual mini-putt golf tourney (at the Ocean Putt course — the only one that counts). Memorial day weekend always marked the official start of summer.
This year we created a Memorial Day rental special that provides a great value (that's always important these days) and that also solves a few timing and scheduling issues we've noticed over the years for renters.
Group scheduling can be tough
Typically when groups try to coordinate a two or three night stay with friends and family over the Memorial Day weekend, there are schedule conflicts. It's just tough to get everyone to commit to the timing that can work for everyone. So we're offering a week's rental, over the Memorial Day holiday so people can come and go as they please. Most people might only want to stay for a few nights, so now everyone can have a better chance at working the schedule to suit their needs. And we're offering this week for almost $1,000 less than our normal weekly pricing!
Timing: It's not fun to leave on Monday
Our Memorial Day special runs Tuesday to Tuesday. So in addition to the extra days, versus a three night stay, you can enjoy the actual Memorial Day holiday on Monday, without having to deal with the major departing traffic that usually heads home on Monday. That extra day means you can take your time and enjoy the Memorial Day ceremony on the beach which is an important event, and something special to share with family, friends, and especially your kids.
Super Value per person
We priced our special at a weekly rate of $1,950. For comparison, our normal weekly rate for Memorial Day is $2,900 so that's close to a $1,000 savings for the week's rental. Take the math a little further and you'll see that for a party of 12, our Memorial Day Special works out to $23 per night per person. Awesome!
