Pro Tip
Food shopping in Cape May is convenient with an Acme Market only two blocks from the Longfellow Guest House. However, you may want to bring some supplies from home including:
condiments like ketchup, mustard, salad dressing, special seasoning
drinks like soda, mixers, liquor and beer
bread, cold cuts and cheese
toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, kleenex, paper plates
kitchen garbage bags, Off insect repellent
laundry detergent, liquid hand soap
drinks, cereal, non-perishable food & snacks
Keurig K-Cups or Regular Coffee (house has both machines)
Groceries cost more on the island, so if it's important to save money, shop ahead of time. Another benefit to shopping in advance is that once you arrive, you can head straight to the beach. That's always a nice way to start a vacation (just ask your kids!).
